Larsongs
....choose to make a vintage spot on correct Spec USA Casino? It’s certainly not because they aren’t able to... Seriously, they had plenty of time to think about it & plan it. Is there a method to their madness? Or, do they throw Darts at a Dart Board while drinking at the local Honky Tonk down there in Nashville? They certainly could’ve made a version with spot on vintage correct appointments. Does anyone know? What do you think? Lucky
mihcmac
Sounds like a question for Gibson Support. https://www.epiphone.com/Support/Contact Edited April 26, 2021 by mihcmac
Red 333
My guess it's that it is a business decision. If they made a reissue today with authentic vintage specs, they would not be able to justify a higher price in the future on an artist model with authentic vintage specs. mihcmac
It looks to me like, spec wise, the USA Casino is just like the last 330 like the Slim Harpo "Lovell" ES-330, the same measurements, components and similar hardware , woods and nitro. Except the Epiphone is $300 less. Very similar. Edited April 27, 2021 by mihcmac

Similar, yes, but, different Trapeze, Pickguard, Inlays & Tuners are noticeable right off the bat...

Yes but it seems they have upgraded to the Gibson/Kluson style cast tuners with threaded bushings, at least on the ones that have been received by customers.
