Looking for 1981 or 1982 Les Paul heritage award #13

Hi all! Not sure how to find what I’m looking for and hoping that someone could help point me in the right direction. I want a 1981 or 1982 heritage award #13.  My father was given the 1980 #13 (long story I can go into later) he recently passed and I gave the guitar back to the guy who gave it to him in 1980. I would love to have either 81 or 82 or both. Any help in how to maybe track down these guitars would be greatly appreciated!

I hope you got 5k lying around. If it had #13 on the back of the headstock on a placard, then that is the only #13 and the guy you gave it back to has it.

Thank you for the info! I wasn’t sure how they numbered them so that helps a lot. I will just look for one for myself but definitely want the heritage award. Thanks again!

Actually it looks like numbers started over each year. I’ve seen 1981 #10 and 1982 #52 when searching online.  Anyway to search who owns #13 for each year? Thanks again for any input!

Yeah but isn't only that  #13 a special one since your dad had it for a while. A #13 from a different year may have the same number and will be a LP, but it will be a different one from a different year with a different top.
