ddsax422
Are indian laurel fretboards any good, like similarly good to rosewood fretboards? Is there a difference tonally and appearance-wise?
Twang Gang
Never saw one in person, and never played on one so couldn't say. Several companies have been using the wood and I don't know if it's because they think it's good, or if it's just a more plentiful wood than rosewood or ebony? (And possibly more cost effective?) sparquelito
It's similar to rosewood in tone, but I find the Indian laurel ones to be more interesting, and pretty. 🤔
Whitefang
I prefer the Hardy ones. Whitefang
