vinnier6
What’s everyone’s take on kluson revolution locking tuners...I was thinking about swapping out the Gibson deluxe for locking tuners
merciful-evans
I've no experience of them, but I'm sure they maintain Kluson high standards. Personally I would only change out inferior tuners, Gibson Deluxe are not that: but if locking tuners are worth that much to you then go for it.
Sgt. Pepper
Most of mine are open back butter beans that do not lock. I did like locking tuner when I had electrics. Edited May 7, 2021 by Sgt. Pepper
merciful-evans
The only time I had Lockers was on my PRS CE24 RW which I sold it this year. It didn't sell me on Locks TBH. I was worried I would lose the (non captive) screws. PRS anticipated this, evidenced by the spare one they supplied in the case.
Twang Gang
Didn't know Kluson made a locking tuner (haven't been tuner shopping in a long time). When Gibson fits locking tuners on their guitars they are almost always Grover brand. I am not sure why this is - better tuner? Cost? Just sayin with all the hundreds of thousands of Kluson tuners Gibson has put on their guitars over the years why when they install locking tuners do they use Grover? But sorry as to the OPs question I have never used them or even seen one so have no idea how they perform.
