Dave F
Emmylou Harris was in town this week and put on a great show. Still going strong at 74! Played a blonde J-200 most of the evening.

MissouriPicker
Awesome and very talented lady. Saw her in the mid-80’s when she had her Hot Band. Damn, she was hot and had the voice of an angel.
bobouz
Still enjoy those duets with Gram Parsons. That’s about as far as I ever went with Emmylou on records, although I did see her perform at the Opry in the mid-2000s. Always good to know she’s out there. Dave F
Some of her past sidemen are my favorites. James Burton, Albert Lee, Rodney Crowell, Ricky Skaggs , Sam Bush and many others.
olie
I was fortunate enought to see two "Down From the Mountain" shows in Toronto and she was amazing. Not to mention Alison Krauss, Gillian Welch, Jerry Douglas, Ralph Stanley and a whole slew of other wonderful artists. At the grand finale she was at the back of the chorus and you could still hear her voice cutting throught the mix in a subtle yet commanding way. As has been said before - she has the voice of an angel.
sunndwn
Isnt one of her J-200's from Gram Parsons? I think she bought it in pieces from his wife.
fortyearspickn
I read a quote from her several years ago - she said 'I think the most beautiful sound in the world is a J200 barred at the 5th fret strumming an A chord."
Dave F
The guitars she had were newer ones. She probably saves the special guitars for special occasions.
