Amultistansunfl
I am in possession of what I think is a Gibson 335 1958 cherry. It's serial number is 5800 which seems to mean it is a special of some sort. Wondering the value of it and if it is in fact a gibson 335 1958. jdgm
Nice. However it is very unlikely given that 1958 ES-335s had humbucking pickups and an inlay on the front headstock. The machine heads are different also; your guitar looks to have a close similarity to the 2019 ES-335 with P90s, although those usually had a stop tailpiece. Google images - https://www.google.com/search?q=2019+ES-335+with+P90s.&client=firefox-b-d&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiRhvCyi6XyAhUSTxUIHYfxCi4Q_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1920&bih=1075 These are 1958 or '59 ones - https://cartervintage.com/products/gibson-es-335n-1959 https://www.atbguitars.com/store/product/1958-gibson-es-335-td-58335td/ Better pics needed including headstock, back of headstock, label inside soundhole, bridge, etc. To do that you'd have to take the pics then upload them to an image-sharing site (imgur etc) and they provide a direct link which you copy and paste into your post on this forum - if that makes sense. Best wishes! Edited August 9, 2021 by jdgm
Grog
It looks similar to an ES-330 around 1960……..

Yes more likely to be a dot 330 but machines must have been changed in that case? Can't see if the neck's bound. There should be a label inside the soundhole.
