johannes
Hi All, This guitar is clearly vintage, lots of cracks on front and back. It must be a counterfeit, right? The shape of the top of the headstock seems not correct, the heel of the neck does not look like anything Gibson ever made. I am just surprised that in the 60s-70s or whenever this guitar was produced, also headstock logo's were copied. Any thoughts? Best regards, Johannes

RBSinTo
Regardless whether it is a real Gibson or not, it might still be a nice sounding guitar. The only thing you did not comment on was the quality of the sound it produces, which when assesing MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS is really their most important attribute, as opposed to the name on the headstock. It is posible you have stumbled on a no-name but still quality instrument produced overseas way back when. RBSinTo
