MichaelkTakagi
Does any one know if Gibson ever used an aging or vintage toner on their 2019 L 00 studio natural guitars? Also, is there a difference from the 2019 models and the 2020 models? Thanks!
E-minor7
No - but the topic is good : Vintage toner as a phenomenon. It's one of the basic guitar themes we haven't touch in a direct thread. Perhaps because the toner-tradition'n'culture mainly is based in Nazareth. I quite like some of the nuances. Not those that tilt toward curry or nylon-string-orange, but something third and forth. My Gibson Acoustic Firebird was paler than butter the first years. It took a looong time for it to catch some tan. And after a full decade it's still in the light end. Reward is that the sweet warm hue which waits out there ahead will be real, , , and slow-mo born before my patient eyes.

No worries, a little teasing is fine. Hope you see exercising what is my second language makes these lines appear like spoken half 'blind-folded'.
