Bridge Upgrade/Replacement: Gibson Firebird Zero (Recommendations Please!)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I recently purchased a Firebird Zero and the bridge is tilting and pressing into the body of the guitar.  I want to replace the brige with something better.  I've seen that hipshot makes a bridge, but I saw a video on youtube that these Zero's have metric threaded studs.  Does anyone know of any drop in replacements that are better than the stock ones?  Does hopshot make a metric threaded kit?

EDIT:  I emailed hipshot and they told me that they do NOT make a metric thread kit.  I really think the should, seems like a lost opportunity.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

M-T
