I just picked up a nice Epipone acoustic and I am having difficulty finding any info on it.The model isPRLTD ASBOF it is made in Japan and it looks like it was made for the Canadian market as it has Maple leaf inlays on the fret board .I believe it is about 40 years old.It is a really nice guitar to play and it is a very pretty instrument but I can't find any info.Hoping someone can help.Cheers . pohatu771
That label was used for Japanese models starting around 1980. This is not a model I've seen documented anywhere, though. The bridge is shaped differently than any other Epiphone of that era.
Brucebubs
Could the maple leaf represent a maple top and not be Canada related? It's a great looking guitar. Edited October 2, 2021 by Brucebubs

I used to have an Epiphone Performer with a lam top that had pretty remarkable tone.... Epiphone Performer ME
