jameswithesg Posted April 1, 2009 Share Posted April 1, 2009 anybody??????? i have a boss dynamic envelope filter, and it pretty much does what i want. use it for really getting funky with the band, great for funk tones and psychadelic jams ive always known people with the q-tron, anybody heard of it? i hear its the holy grail of ef's anybody use one? is it really that badass? would it be worth upgrading to a q-tron? 80LPC Posted April 1, 2009 Share Posted April 1, 2009 I borrowed a friend's '70s Boss auto wah pedal (the first one) and it was good fun. Some of the Q- trons I've heard on Youtube seem to have a more extreme range of sounds that can turn a bit shrill. Alphonso Johnson used to have a great filter effect on his bass in the '70s.
