Dartanion
tldr; I'm looking for LP2 horn, driver, and possibly crossover specs. Hi all. I have had this head and cabinet for almost 25 years now, and I really want to get it back to a somewhat usable state, but age and lack of information have slowed me down in the past. I'm not concerned with restoring it to anywhere near the original setup. The amplifier itself is long gone, when I took ownership the amp itself was non-functional and I tossed it. The head/effects unit did work, and I'll be revisiting it for basic power and capacitor issues. I don't know and don't think the original amp was unique or particularly desirable, so for now I have a 300 watt single channel digital amp to take it's place. When I was a teenager I drove this whole cabinet from a single channel Heathkit amplifier, which was plenty back then, and would still be more than enough now. The cabinet however has been troublesome, and this is where the meat of my questions lie. I cannot find any information on the original University Sound horns, and one of them is no good. The other four drivers still seem to be doing ok, but I honestly can't remember if there was an original crossover, or if I came up with and installed what I'm seeing in there while in high school. Regardless, I have zero info on the horns or drivers, so I can't even work backwards from there, and I'm not sure what I could replace the two horns with, despite how much it may or may not degrade the fit and feel of the unit. I don't ever plan on selling this thing, nor do I ever want to claim it as an original. I just want to get it functional again and relive a part of my youth. If anyone has info on this combo, or can help in any way, I would greatly appreciate being able to revisit and close an old chapter of my life.
