Pinch
Okay, since I couldn't find any info on disengaging truss rod as another poster recommended, here goes: If I want to remove and lube the TR nut, is it safe to just loosen the truss rod until the nut comes off (strings slackened)? The newly added amount of max relief won't hurt anything for the duration it takes to just lube the nut? Thank you.

Pinch
Will fingers suffice to put a (Gibson style) TR nut back on? (There's a first time for everything...)
