Nut Work on My 335

Nut work day - Fill and recut 3 strings -

Wanna see a bad nut?  Here's my previous work -

Slots cleaned out and enlarged slightly -

Filler dust from old saddle -

Add a drop or two of superglue to each notch -

Check, 1,2,3 -

I'll let the glue cure 'till tomorrow and then I'll recut the slots...

I own one. It takes an hour and a half to change strings, 45 mins to tune it, then you play it for 5 mins and your fingers hurt and you put it back in the case.

guess I got lucky.

I have a MIC Guild I paid about $1k for about 2 years ago. 

Took some time to get the setup right but it's the best playing 12 string I've ever owned.  (I've had a few include a realy nice ovation legend shallow bowl)

Tuning not really a problem either.

String changes are a bit of PITA, most of the time I have coated strings on it which greatly reduces the re-stringing cycle.
