These had 12 frets, black finishes, white pickguards, single bound tops, black pins, unbound fretboards, and stenciled white logos, which all look like features seen in the photo. zombywoof Posted January 14, 2022 Share Posted January 14, 2022 1932 was the first year for the pickguard and no "The" in the Gibson logo on the L series guitars. I own a 1932 L1 which had fancier appointments so a hand rubbed varnish burst, both top and back binding, and firestripe pickguard.
