badbluesplayer
We had a neighbor show up at our weekly jam this week with his trombone. Here's a Facebook video of some jazzy stuff. Twang Gang
Sounded pretty good 👍 Do you know the difference between a trombone player driving a car, and a frog driving a car? Better chance the frog is heading to a gig!
Pinch
What do you call the people that hang around musicians? Drummers. (Thanks, Nicko McBrain.)
merciful-evans
I envy you the jam BBP. Looks such great fun. I've played with all manner of sax players, trumpet & flautists, but never a trombonist. I enjoyed the trombone parts in The Specials. The player's name was Rico Rodrigez I think. My late partner Jan's brother in law was a trombonist in the Royal Marines Band. He had plenty of great stories about his career. A difficult instrument to master, and plenty loud too. Pinch, Thanks for not substituting 'banjo players' for Drummers.

Whitefang
Well BBP.... J. J. Johnson he's not. But bless him he's still able to blow that thing. I tried years ago to try and blow into a buddy's trombone but all I could manage was wounded elephant sounds. Looked like all were having a great time. And the music sounded good too. Wonder what it would have looked like if recorded with a camera instead of a phone. Whitefang
