Hello!

Last week i bought a new 2021 335 in Ebony from a local Store.

I really dig the strings that came on it, they should be the factory strings (brass and silver ballends).

I want to order some of them, but im not sure if they are Brite Wire´s or the Vintage Reissue´s.

I hope someone can help me

rumor  has,  GHS makes strings for Gibson...

If they are still marketing Brite Wires, that would be a good guess.

A lot of us are fans of D'Addario strings for our Gibson electrics.

I think for you, the only sure way to know, (unless someone here does) is an Email to Customer Service.  Will you get a reply?  Dunno, it's  coin flip.

I'd call Gibson customer service and ask what strings they are putting on a new 335.  I did that with a Hummingbird I bought - I liked the way it sounded and wanted to use the same strings when it came time to replace them.

Here is what you do, buy a bunch of different ones and see what you like. Strings are cheap compared to guitars.

BTW, you can get slinky's on ebay from Musicians Friend for about $40 per dozen.  It's cheaper than if you order them straight from MF.  It's a constant promotional thing.  But it's only on ebay, as far as I can tell.
