I really dig the strings that came on it, they should be the factory strings (brass and silver ballends). kidblast Posted February 1, 2022 Share Posted February 1, 2022 rumor has, GHS makes strings for Gibson... If they are still marketing Brite Wires, that would be a good guess. A lot of us are fans of D'Addario strings for our Gibson electrics. I think for you, the only sure way to know, (unless someone here does) is an Email to Customer Service. Will you get a reply? I did that with a Hummingbird I bought - I liked the way it sounded and wanted to use the same strings when it came time to replace them. It's cheaper than if you order them straight from MF. It's a constant promotional thing. But it's only on ebay, as far as I can tell.
