Howdy all, My very first guitar was a 59 or 60 Les Paul JR Double Cutaway.  I have owned a bunch of guitars since that first one and really wish I had it back.  When I retired my team bought me a 2011 LP JR for my retirement present.  I have always been a Gibson fan but for some reason never owned any Gibson acoustics, that is about to change, I hope.  I put a deposit to hold a J-45 at a local shop today and tomorrow afternoon I am going to check it out and hopefully bring it home.  The J-45 is one of my bucket list guitars if this works out well I will be on the search for a J-200 next.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the J45.

My bucket list axe was an J200, which I landed in March of 2016, most money I ever dropped on a guitar.  Never regretted it for a second.

Good luck hunting the next one down,  J200s are special instruments
