Mark13
Hi All, Picking up my old LG1 to try and relearn how to play. Does anyone know where I can buy the string pins for an LG1, either original or faux? Mine are bent! Many thanks! Mark
Dave F
Not sure what you mean about string pins.
Mark13
Hi Dave, I meant the six little slotted pins (I can't think of a better word!) that holds down the strings on the bridge. Thx!
sbpark
Send a message to Bob Colosi. He can probably get you the correct pins.

If it is an older guitar he may ask you to measure the pins to ensure a proper fit. At least that is what I had to do when I wanted a set of unslotted pins for my wife's 1960 J200. Mark13
You guys rock! Thanks so much!
62burst
Mr Colosi's specialty seems to be bone pins, and if you give him a couple of measurements of your current bridge pins, the ones he'll send you will most likely sit into place on your bridge with just the right amount of snugness. Question is: the pins that you've found on your guitar that are bent are probably plastic, which many people are fine with, so- what will bone pins do for the sound of a ladder-braced LG-1?
