Dario1908 Posted February 15, 2022 Share Posted February 15, 2022 Hello, I got a Les Paul Standard '50 a few months ago and I noticed that it has a static electricity problem (it seems a common problem probably due to nitro but the strange thing is that not all Gibsons suffer from it ...). If I rub the back, plastic covers or neck with my hand (without touching metal parts) I hear a rustle - crackle from the amp? Does it happen to you too? Do you know the reason and how to fix it? Goldrake Posted February 16, 2022 Share Posted February 16, 2022 Ciao Dario, purtroppo succede anche a me con la mia classic 2021, devo provare con la 50s è un po che non la suono....ho provato di tutto ma non ho soluzioni purtroppo. c'e' chi mi ha suggerito un antistatico ma ancora non ho provato....ho un po paura a usare prodotti sulla nitro. spero ci sia qualcuno che ci puo dare un aiuto perchè è davvero fastidiosa. ciao Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
marco mancini Posted March 25, 2022 Share Posted March 25, 2022 Mi sembra che vada schermata tutta internamente nelle sedi dei pick ups e nella sede dei potenziometri con un nastro speciale , anche la mia standard lo fa , la firebird per esempio lo fa solo sul battipenna e sul coperchio del vano dei potenziometri , un liutaio comunque risolve il problema , almeno spero Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
