zombywoof Posted February 25, 2022 Share Posted February 25, 2022 While blanket statements often do not work out for the best, my take on it is that fingerpickers tend to prefer a wider string spacing at the bridge than flatpickers. Going between the '32 L1 and '42 J50 my right hand fumble quite a bit. Thing is I get older it seems to take more time for that muscle memory to kick in.
