Carmine Street Guitars Documentary

Meh.

It has been on television many times and didn't excite me when I first watched it.

Really slow and drags. And the decorated guitars are incredibly tasteless. Remind me of bad, prison tattooing.

Watching someone build an acoustic guitar: now that's a horse of a different colour.

I must say, I like the idea of repurposed, old growth wood.

I've been around a lot of old growth wood in the demolition industry in my years in Lake Charles. I've seen full cut 2x8's thirty feet long. I ran into some rough cut cedar that were 1" x 16" ten and twelve feet in length. Cool stuff you couldn't buy today.
