Need help identifying a Gibson 25.5 inch scale bolt on neck

Recommended Posts

I am new to the forum. Please have patience with me if I’m doing this wrong, or posted in the wrong place. I have a 25.5” scale Gibson bolt on neck. It is a maple neck with a maple fretboard . It has the Explorer style headstock. I cant figure out what guitar this came off of. My friend told me it was a U2 or a Super Strat. Through my research it appears both of these models were set neck instruments. I also checked the Nighthawk and Blues hawk. They are both bolt on however they have 3+3 headstocks. I am curious if anyone knows what guitar this came off of. I can’t seem to post a picture. The site is saying it’s too big to post. Thank you

I looked them up. They have a pointed style headstock.  Do you think they did some with the hockey stick style headstock?

I don't know what I was reading, but in my mind you said it had a Flying V headstock. It's definitely not a Maurauder.

You need to upload your picture to a third party host and then paste the Copy Image Address in your post. Another option some use is to post it on facebook then copy that image address link and paste it.

I don't see any Maple boards on these models but you never know.
