They will be arriving next Friday. Whitefang The original Fillmore '71 was a single LP, the new one is a triple with 2 LPs of extra songs that didn't make the original. This is the official Rainbow Theater album release. Domestic (heating & cooking) gas price rise is up 125% since the start of this year in the UK. We're paying the equivalent of $2 (about) for ONE litre of petrol - less than 2 pints. The price of a digitally mastered LP pressing over here is from about £18 to £26 ($23 to $34) unless it's a special edition (LZ remasters, your Zappas etc) which are much more. To me it's partly down to greed, shrinking resources/shortage of materials, demand far outstripping supply, 2-year global pandemic and now a frigging war that none of us want or are fighting. Blaming Joe is a joke, and he himself is a joke too, like the guys with the other sweaters blaming the Orange guy for 4 years. It's a stupid political game we play over here. Instead of doing what is best for the people, and trying to stop homelessness and taking care of our Veterans who served our country, they do what is best for the Bozo's that are up on the Hill. All those clowns are puppets, we need more stupid laws, and The Wokies trying to erase our history. Tearing down a statue , and renaming Army Bases doesn't change the good and bad stuff that happened in our country. Its called history. Gas where I'm at in some stations is close to $4 a gallon. The Zappa ‘88 The Last US Show LP was really good. The Mothers 1970 had a few good nuggets on it, but the live stuff sounded like it was recorded with a pillow over the mics. Fillmore East is on my radar as well. I've got More of the Monkees on pre-order too (a fool and his money, I guess). Paid $6/gallon last week; my Harley needs premium.
