Would You consider a Guitar with this damage/repair?

This is the neck on a 69 goldtop that is for sale.

Would you consider a guitar with this type of repair?

It's described as thin gouges that were touched up -- but to me, it looks like a crack.

Apparently the owner didn't like how the gouges felt, so he had a well-known repair person fill them with glue, and then sand and touch-up the finish.

I saw the guitar in person, and you can't feel a thing, and you can't tell where the finish was touched up -- but you can see the thin glue lines which have darkened.

Curious as to your opinions.

Hmm.  It could be what you have been told it is, but it does look like it's had a fairly hard knock and that is a crack that's been fixed....from the pic.

I would have to want it badly to ignore that IMO.  But I'm no expert!

Good luck....
