Rusty Mcdangles Posted March 14, 2022 Share Posted March 14, 2022 Anyone ever see lines around serial numbers and the made in usa faded? Mine is a 2016 standard t in trans black. I’m curious if it’s the wings that were put on and now the lines are visible? I don’t want to think it was painted as I can’t see any repairs to the neck and it looks very clean. Maybe be I'm off base.. but I think the more opaque the finish, the more this situation is prevalent. Jim Bagodonuts Posted June 22, 2022 Share Posted June 22, 2022 I think the serial number was unreadable once it got to Final Assembly, so they re-stamped it. I think that's why it looks like that.
