theodessakid
Hi.... I know this has been discussed before....but if I want to keep the shine up on a 58 plain top where the sweat hits without harming the finish what product would be best? You know the areas....top back where the arm hits and the back. thanks
MikeRom
Virtuoso cleaner and polish will do a bang up job. Cleans off crud that nothing else can and give it a better than new shine and is nitro safe. You won't be disappointed. Many of us on this forum and the LPF use it so do a search for more opinions. http://www.virtuosopolish.com

crossroadsnyc
I prefer the Gibson pump polish. The virtuoso makes your guitar look like you just dipped it in the lake ... way too shiny and dripping wet looking to me. Just looks very unnatural to me I guess. Though, if you like that look it's the best one to get.
sok66
They look better when the shine has been worn off, the clear is cracked, the parts are dulled and there are a number of dings & chips in 'em. To get that way they've been played for thousands of hours, sound better after all that, too.
