BlackHawk233
Woah, didn't notice the maple body part... Still I wouldn't doubt this thing.
cvansickle
Front strap button's in the wrong place. There's nothing wrong with trying new ideas, but are Gibson customers really asking for this kind of thing? Or are the R&D guys throwing wet wads at the wall and seeing what sticks? The Raw Power LP, before the EMG version, was a killer guitar. They should make those again, IMO.
BlackHawk233
This one has 57's, not EMG's. One thing though, quilt top. And maybe solid Mahogany body, but then it wouldn't be a Raw-Power. It just looks pretty cool. I would like my guitar MUCH more though, the mahogany body and top is just so freaking resonating.
kantplayyet
Gibson run outta paint or something??
tango martin
if it had proper inlays on it, id get one tomorrow, hate dot inlays on a les paul, looks so wrong. Either plain maple neck with no inlays or with the whitest block inlays you could find, mwah, id marry it!
Flight959
Looks too anemic.... Prefer the block inlays to the dots too! Flight959
cvansickle
Gibson run outta paint or something?? Less time and labor in production = cheaper production costs = higher profit. Faster delivery to distribution too.
TinFish
Don't like 'em. Front strap button's in the wrong place. Hah, I didn't notice that until you mentioned it. People better be getting strap locks if they are shipping them all out like that.
jnastynebr
Remember, old Les wanted a solid maple body in the first days of the LP.

bigneil
Gibson in the early days were real innovators, i bet les himself would approve. Maybe these new style ones will be really good. not my taste though i think it is F*&^%"G UGLY!
Kimolas
I'm a real sucker for natural finish guitars... If I didn't already have my cherry burst Studio, I'd seriously consider picking one of these up...
