Rob Bauer
Thinking of buying a 60s ES 335. Serial number says it is a 1967 and looks genuine, but the finish looks like an Ice Tea (Sun)Burst. Did Gibson have these finishes on tailpiece 67 ES 335? Or is this maybe a refinish. Can anybody help? Cheers Rob
Sgt. Pepper
I might as well tell ya cause it’s gonna happen, post pics. We can’t read minds as to what you see. There can be a one off of anything from Gibson.

Twang Gang
My guess would be that it was refinished, if in fact, it is an Iced Tea Burst. As I recall 335s back in '67 mostly were red, black, walnut, or natural finishes. Of course, I could be wrong.
Larsongs
In the 60’s they had a color called Royal Tan.. I think George Harrison’s Casino. I’m pretty sure it was available on Gibson.. The headstock was most likely dark brown…
