TWilson
Beautiful guitar! It does have that J-45/AJ look about it. Hey, why isn't there any snow in the background?
Jinder
Yum yum yum. Aren't those Collings beautifully finished? I went all over my bandmate Si's OM2H with a fine-toothed comb, and I couldn't find a single flaw. Stunning.

drathbun
Collings are amazing instruments. I absolutely love that headstock! And the sound is incredible to match the price.
asmith9509
Very, very jealous. Is it a long scale like an AJ or a short scale like a J45? Does it sound "Gibson-y"? I have to say, that's on my "if I could have only one guitar" list.
TheLiveSoundGuy
If it sounds and feels as good as it looks (except for the headstock dust,) then you have a winner! Congrats.
Red 333
I went to Charley's in Dallas a few weeks ago, as they have a large selection of Collings. They were finished so impecably I was afraid to touch them! I'm glad you had no such fear, and hope you enjoy yours! By the way, lest anyone needs more convincing to visit Austin (and you REALLY should...). Collings gives a factory tour every other Friday. They list the dates on their website. powerpopper
Nice thing about being Jerry Jeff-----He can acquire any guitar he wants!~I don't have that luxury. One time I spent an afternoon at Mandolin Brothers on Staten Island and had the chance to play JJW's D-45 that was there on consignment (probably around 1994 or so). Really regretted I didn't have the $10k or $15k they were asking for it...
Taylor Player
All I can say is WOW what a beautiful Collings!! Dust off that headstock on the next string change and it will look even better..... Can you descirbe the tone? Is it Gibson like or bass heavy like Martins or more balanced and shimmery like Taylors?
