A good friend of mine died a month ago and his widow wants to give 2 Gibson Guitars to the grand children, but would like to know thrir approximate value before doing so. One is a J-50 with serial number 841168 and the other is an MK-53 with serial number 0021163. My friend was a well known actor and singer and there are photos of him playing at least one of these guitars. If anyone could have an idea of their values, that would be great.
