RamblinJack
I recently purchased one from the Everly website after my cart emptied on the Gibson site and it was classes as out of stock. The Gibson site claims only 30 would be made. I received the guitar with 48hrs and it had the worst finish to any new guitar I've ever seen (see picture). There is nothing on the the label or the certificates that show anything about it being limited to 30, and the Everly website makes no reference to that claim either. I noticed the cases have also been cheapened, dull pink interior, crappy buckles and the 'leather' handle is like a dog chew compared to Gibson USA cases in the 1990's. What a shame. I'm shocked it got through Gibson QA/QC. I have three custom shops - J200-TV 1958, J-180EB and J160e1961. All from 2010-2015 and they are beautiful. What's gone wrong at Gibson....!? It was so bad my wife and I actually think it might have been a fake, which is ridiculous and impossible.
fortyearspickn
Maybe you got a bogus guitar since you purchased it from 'the Everly website' ? If it has a CoA and you're the original owner - register the warranty and then call it in. As far as the case - if the seller is not an 'authorized' Gibson dealer, they may have taken the good case and substituted a cheap knock off. I'd take photos and ask Bozeman about that too. And why the CoA - doesn't state it was a Limited Run of 30. You certainly have a lot to be concerned about. As far as the finish - I can't see a photo.
