callen3615
Anybody use it? I just bought some. Seems ok. But now my computer, doorknob, and tv remote are also lubricated.

AXE®
Axe plz tell me how that works for strings? It comes as a stick with the consistency of a candle. Lightly <- very lightly apply to the strings. Also the best nut lube I've ever used.
Thundergod
Why bother? I change my strings periodically... So... you say your knob is lubed? hohoho

brundaddy
I swear by Fast Fret, myself. Very little residue, you can't exactly overdo it like it seems you can with the cocoa butter candle thingy, & it smells pretty good.
FirstMeasure
A couple weeks ago the Band playing at the local watering hole let me and my girlfriend sit in for "Hit Me With your Best Shot". The guitar player had some Finger Ease, which is a spray that you spray the neck with. I was warming up a little with his guitar unplugged during the break, and before I went on I tried it, that stuff works like a charm. there was no friction on the neck or strings at all, just moved around the neck like it was some Star Trek technology. I'm Sold.

saturn
I use Finger Ease too, but only once in a while. You can also spray it on the back of the neck to make it a litttle less sticky.
brundaddy
I tried Finger Ease before a bass player turned me on to Fast Fret. To me anyway, Finger Ease didn't clean/lube the strings as well, & to a lesser extent the overspray was messy. Until that bass player talked me into trying his Fast Fret, Finger Ease had turned me off so bad I was like Guitarrest & swore I'd never use any string care products. callen3615
I still like brand new strings better.
RudyH
My strings seem to last longer since I started using FastFret after each time I play. I like the ease of use. It lasts a long time. It seems to be a good product. My only issue with FastFret has been that with some brands of strings, the slicker finish it imparts on the strings can make bending difficult. brundaddy
It comes with the little cloth to take care of those scenarios.
