Epiphone Exclusive 1959 Les Paul Standard - not as advertised

Recommended Posts

I just received a brand new Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard with Gibson Burstbucker pups, CTS pots, 50's wiring and hardcase.  Awesome sounding and great feeling guitar...BUT....I immediately realized that the treble volume knob post was shorter than the other three and the knob was rubbing on the top of the guitar.  Upon further inspection that pot was not CTS pot and the solder job looked pretty shoddy.

My first Les Paul...so is using a shorter post in that lower volume spot normal?  And should I be concerned about the pot not matching the other CTS pots?  Thanks!
