mojofelix Posted August 3, 2022 Share Posted August 3, 2022 I just bought a 2007 Hummingbird/HS. I am looking for information about this guitar. Anyone know: 1. What does HS stand for? 2. Is this a solid spruce top or all laminate? 3. Country of origin is nowhere to be found on the guitar. Anyone know where it was made? Thanks for any input! mojofelix Posted August 22, 2022 Author Share Posted August 22, 2022 Though I have a dozen acoustic guitars costing many thousands of dollars I too am clicking with this Epi. It has a very non-woody chimy tone that is a refreshing change from my Martins. It really shines when rehearsing along with my bass player because the two instruments don't compete for any tonality.
