Gibson app tabs

+1 - I agree the app should offer notation or traditional guitar tabs available.

I was learning one of the songs and struggling to nail the strumming pattern. The pattern included a dotted eighth (i think) note.

Felt like it would have been easier if I could have just looked at the notation to see quarter, eight, sixteenth, dotted eight, etc.

Yes, the spacing between strums in the "tab" view reflexes the timing - but it is not the same as seeing some form of musical timing notation.

Perhaps that tab view in the app could show whole, half, quarter, eighth, sixteenth, and dotted notes above the strum/note - even that would be helpful.

I know we have all heard countless amazing guitarists say, "I never learned to read music," "I learned everything by ear," and other statements of that nature. And I'm sure Gibson wanted to make an app that makes it as easy as possible for new guitarists to start making music without bogging the student down with music theory and learning to read notation - and I commend Gibson and Zoundio on the final product. I love the app, and I promptly registered and paid my money.

But - Not everyone using the app is a new musician. Almost everyone would benefit from having some form of music notion available - especially with timing. I think there is a way to show the timing notion on the current tab view benefiting musicians learning guitar as a second instrument, and for the newest aspiring musician that doesn't know what a whole note looks like - seeing timing notation in the tabs view would be an excellent subliminal introduction to musical notation.

Or make traditional music notation/guitar tabs viewable and/or downloadable.

I'm just a beginner, and these app comments can help me find a better way of learning to play the guitar.

I have been using the Gibson learning app for a short time, but I am also interested in printing the tabs from this app. For me, this application is a real discovery. For a long time, I wanted to learn to play the guitar and perform well-known compositions. However, my fascination led to the fact that I began to devote too much time to it. And it hurt my performance in college. I found the solution to this problem on https://assignmentbro.com/ca/assignment-maker and improved my task grades. But I don't regret it. I believe that all dreams should be realized as soon as possible. And thanks to the Gibson app, I can do that. I don't have to worry about studying because I can always find assignment maker to do the task. I want to find other online resources to learn to play the guitar.

Studying can be quite the adventure, but it also has its fair share of challenges. Personally, I've always had a bit of trouble remembering facts about countries and continents. The amount of information to grasp is pretty vast!  To help me tackle this challenge and improve my grades, I've turned to Storyboard That's digital platform. Specifically, their "continents worksheet" has been an absolute lifesaver. These worksheets make learning about continents and countries much more engaging and interactive. They're filled with maps, fun facts, and activities that have made studying geography much more enjoyable and effective. If you're facing similar difficulties in your studies, I highly recommend checking out these worksheets. You can find them on Storyboard That's digital platform here. They've certainly made a world of difference in my learning journey! Remember, we all have our unique challenges when it comes to studying, but with the right tools, we can conquer them and thrive academically.

I totally get what you're saying. Being able to look at traditional music notes or guitar tabs, especially for those tricky timing patterns, can be a real help for learners at all sorts of levels. And for folks who want to dive even deeper, it opens up opportunities to learn musical notation. It's awesome to hear that you're getting both positive feedback and constructive criticism about the app. Having choices like this can make the learning experience better and reach more artists.
