sglover61 Posted August 4, 2022 Share Posted August 4, 2022 Hi there, I recently purchased a Gibson 2021 SG Standard 1961 and I want to remove the arm off the sideways vibrola but I'm not able to find a proper way to make it. SteveFord Posted August 5, 2022 Share Posted August 5, 2022 It looks like you'd have to put it in a hydraulic press (or improvise something with a large shop vice) and press out those three those pivot bushings. Looks like it wouldn't work anymore if the whole arm came out, and I would think the remaining parts would not be captive either (they would rattle or fall off).
