Between this and the fact that they are no longer allowed to copy Gibsons shapes..  Seems their days may be done...

Watch the prices of second hand ones shoot up...

I played a few American Deans way back then, we sold them, when LoverBoy was the only band that actually used them.  There was a reason for that.

Michael Schenker played and still plays the hell out of them, but he is just pretty good, nope he's really f-in good. Kansas used them and I think Molly Hatchet too, and I think that guy from Slayer that had the big spikey wrist bands on.

Their artist list looks fairly impressive ( I haven't heard of any of them) and the prices are reasonable enough to attract the younger crowd so I don't see anything wrong with them.

I know they've had some bigger name sig models in the past.

BRET MICHAELS

When I think blistering guitar solos and amazing guitar work my mind immediately goes to . . .  Bret Michaels? WTF? I though he was a singer where the band dresses like b-itches.

I used to own a beautifully Hawaiian engraved all chrome Steel Electric Resonator Guitar. It was awesome to look at. I never bonded with it & sold it. I am still looking for the right one.

Eric Peterson from Testament. Saw him recently and had a nice collection of Deans displayed on side of the stage.

I saw Testament in Hawaii. They killed it. It was ‘93 or so.

Nice, I’m jealous haha! They are one of my most favorite bands. I was glad they were in good form still when I saw them back in May this year. When they come back to Detroit I’ll go see them again. Still an active band from what I can tell after all these years too… planning on releasing another album from what I hear which drops next year.
