If only Charlie Brown, the SG expert were to pop in and tell us about the proper beveling and point-y-ness of the horns. Didn't he get one those Captain Kirk SG's. The guy from Roots, Jimmy Kimmel's house band.

I would say like a Strat but that would be iconic enough?

Three grand is the lowest I have seen on this model, and that's for a 1997 re-issue.

Most used ones from the 1960's and 1970's go for MANY times that amount. 

It's either a handsome fake, or the owner is insane, and also a philanthropist.
