Californiaman Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 I'm leaning towards the Sea Foam Green. What color would you choose? Color Chart
myspace.com/jessenoah Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 YOU B A S T A R D i want one of thoose white blondes SOOOO BAD
Cruznolfart Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Not normally a green guitar guy, the seafoam was the only color that "spoke" to me among the examples. Even the red was quiet in comparison.
The Mick Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 In another post he was saying he wanted some color in his life so I think the white should just be out.
myspace.com/jessenoah Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 White. They all need maple fretboards' date=' though.[/quote']i disagree, Teles need rosewood, strats need maple IMO
retrosurfer1959 Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 White blonde - then swap out to a black pick guard.

kevin134 Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 I got a white blonde lying in bed next to me... she can get kinda moody so go with any other color...LOL... For me its a toss up between the lake placid and the seafoam... Seafoam seems a little more common to me, but have been told that at least on fender's that lake placid blue eventually starts turing green.. just looked at sherwood and I like it...
Notes_Norton Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 I vote for the Blue, but the Green is a close second. I don't know if it is my browser, but in person the colors are not as intense as they look on my computer. Notes
Tim Plains Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 i disagree' date=' Teles need rosewood, strats need mapleIMO[/quote'] I think all Fenders need maple boards, Strats & Teles. Again, IMO.
Californiaman Posted April 11, 2009 Author Posted April 11, 2009 It's Sea Foam Green for me. But I think one of the posts deserves some discussion here. Why do Tele's need Rosewood and Stratocasters Maple? My Diamond Anniversary Telecaster is Maple, as Leo originally intended. It's nice. You've seen pictures of it before. My Stratocaster conversely, has a Rosewood board. I know there is a difference. Rosewood is certainly a warmer, richer sound. Maple is a tighter and more biting tone. Having seen the Experience Hendrix tour this year, I've heard the difference in the hands of some pretty capable musicians. Yes, there is a difference. Your thoughts.

I wish the sea foam came with maple board, Im a whore for a maple board.
FirstMeasure Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 There's absolutely a difference. I prefer the warmer sound of Rosewood, whether it's a Tele or a Strat. I like the look of either depending on the finish and pickguard color.
