Mandotoe Posted August 30, 2022 Share Posted August 30, 2022 (edited) I bought an Epiphone (an Epiphone by Gibson to be precise) many years ago and for a good percentage of those years it has sat in a hard case and followed me on house moves. I can't find a serial number anywhere and I wonder if the headstock and body might give an indication of age to more experienced eyes. AldoMcD1 Posted August 30, 2022 Share Posted August 30, 2022 Hi - there will be other members better qualified on this, but to me this looks like a Korean made Epiphone Sheraton from circa 1986 - 1988 (most likely the Samick factory). There's a lot of info on there. If I remember correct that script on the headstock would put it at the beginning of the Korean production period for epiphone. pohatu771 Posted September 2, 2022 Share Posted September 2, 2022 The best I can do from this photo is 1986-1988 (and that it's a Sheraton II, in no way a Casino). The "handwriting" logo is pretty uncommon, but I haven't seen enough of them to narrow down when they were made.
