BlackHawk233
Ok, I was not in tip top shape when I recorded this, still half sick. But I think we did ok. Lead guitarist may wanna work on the Little solo thing. I need to work on not spacing out. But yeah!
Kimolas
Sweet! By the way, little tip: With Metallica, you'll want to strum down, all of the time basically. Except on fast parts on solos, but that's generally the rule. Lots of people don't seem to know that you strum down throughout all of Master of Puppets and it sounds wrong, and they don't know why. Cheers! :D I might record a cover of this tomorrow, you guys have inspired me.
BlackHawk233
Yeah I was strumming down, I just sometimes look like im not. Only time I don't is on cleans doing single notes. But yeah I noticed that with Master of Puppets.

BlackHawk233
Thanks, I'm really liking your Studio in the pic... Seem like a much deeper red than most.
Kimolas
It hasn't faded yet... If a time machine exists, I'd use it just to see how beautiful this Studio is going to be once it's nicely faded... Of course checking out all of the other gear I [will have?] acquired in 20 years time wouldn't be so bad...
BlackHawk233
Haha yeah, I plan for a Traditional sometime within 5 years. I really love them.
callen3615
Nice, I love playing long to metallica. I get all the way through one, sanitarium, this song, and orion.
Kimolas
Nice! The only songs from Metallica I can get all the way through are And Justice For All, For Whom the Bell Tolls, and Enter Sandman... Including solos. I know like 5 or 6 other Metallica songs completely except for the solos that I haven't gotten to yet. Metallica songs are great... I hear the drums are impossible however... Hahha. I have Guitar Hero Metallica, great game!

Getting all the way through AJFA is impressive, That solo is cool, I used to know it but i forgot
BlackHawk233
I used to know the main parts to AJFA, but long since forgot, sad too. I don't solo much because I'm a rhythm guitarist. But when the songs are over I usually let my inner solo out . I always found the orion riff to boggle my head. Such an amazing song in a crazy beat. crossroadsnyc
Metallica is a lot of fun to play sometimes. Lately I've been playing The Four Horsemen, Seek & Destroy, and Creeping Death ... so yeah, I've been reaching back in the catalog. The Four Horsemen is probably my current favorite to play.
