Oh sure, there's some here and my brother has all the pictures my mother had.  Jordache too.  Jeans were a big deal then, I guess they still are.  Calvins were my favorites.  Cheap Jeans were good too.

Sears Garanimal’s for husky boys were my jam.

Fat shaming in the 70’s when you could get away with it. Now you would have a slew of Wokies backlashing you, or cancel culturing you,  or gaslighting you, or whatever it’s called when you shame someone.

Oh you haven't?

After over 60 years playing...I suppose I've just about done it all.

I used to play the piano nekked.... no lights, just candles on the piano....still couldn't get laid in a "hore" house with a fistfull of $100 bills!

DanvillRob,

My in-the-house "action garb" is tee shirts and sweat pants or sweat shorts in hotter weather, and when I go to my guitar lessons or recitals, I always wear a sweat shirt over old jeans.

These fashion choices have helped ensure that my guitars are free of scratches and buckle rash.

Don't Play Guitar WIth Cheap Jeans needs to be a country song.

DON’T PLAY GUITAR WITH CHEAP JEANS
(a Country song)

C
Don’t play guitar with cheap jeans
                                                        G
I remember my mama used to say

“And make sure your drawers are clean”
                                                                 C
She’d wash, dry and fold them ever’ day

C
Don’t forget to brush and floss
                                                      G
Gotta protect those pearly whites

And if you’re gonna douse your eggs with A1 sauce
                                                                C
mind your napkin and chew each bite

              F
When she went off to Tutwiler Prison
                                      C
I cried and cried all day
   F
As sure as the Lord died and arisen
                                  G
I can still hear her say

C
Don’t play guitar with cheap jeans, Johnny
    G                                           C
Look pretty when you go to play

(pedal steel guitar solo)
C  G C G    F  F  C

              F
When she went off to that women’s Prison
                                      C
I cried and cried all day
   F
As sure as the Lord died and arisen
                                  G
I can still hear her say

C
Don’t play guitar with cheap jeans, Johnny
    G                                           C
And send me some of your pay

(spoken)
And cigarettes, and magazines.
Maybe a case of Tab diet soda

C
(fade)

Okay, I'm gonna shut up now.

😔

Can you throw a quick video together of this song?  (if you can find a steel player).

I was joking, but I somehow think you really did that.
