Ceptorman Posted May 11, 2023 Posted May 11, 2023 Very nice. The 75th anniversary is coming up, do we need another custom guitar? I think so! Quote
LP Corvette Posted December 14, 2023 Author Posted December 14, 2023 Making good progress tracking down all Corvette Guitars that Gibson Custom Shop made...trying to get a photo with the 1963 Corvette SG, 1960 Corvette Les Paul and 2003 50th Anniversary Corvette Les Paul together - trying my best!! LP Corvette Posted November 17 Author Posted November 17 January 18, 2025 at the NCRS show in Melbourne, FL (American Muscle Car Museum), we are set to have 3 LP Corvettes at the show for a photo op, #23, #27 and #30. Here are a few photos of #23 with #30 earlier this year. On a trek to create a registry of all 50 of these guitars made, plus the prototype...trying! 1 Quote

It's a part of my mom's collection of guitars - it's the only Gibson, the rest are Ovation, Adamas and a Woodrow - she played her 6 string Ovation with Glen Campbell before I was born, from right around 1973-1982. She has dementia and is in a facility - I gathered up all of the guitars when I had to sell the house that she was in to pay for her care. Quote

He’s no slouch, so your mom must have been damn good. Quote

She was pretty good - sang the National Anthem for the Orlando Magic from 1993-2021. Just want to clarify, the one Gibson guitar, LP Corvette, #23 is the one she purchased - the photos above are with #23 and #30 - a friend has #30 here in Central Florida - amazing that there are 3 here in FL (out of 50, plus the prototype) 1 Quote
