heymisterk
I like hollow-bodies with either 'buckers or P-90s. I once played a Heritage 535 (Gibson clone; made in MI) with Seth Lovers on a couple of G 'n R songs and felt very Izzy.
Robmosis966
I use my Gibson SG for everything, for the most part. Some people don't like the 490 pu but I love them. They give great rhythm you just can't beat. I have them coil split with push-pull volume pots so I use this guitar for everything rhythm. And of course I use it to bust out some serious in my/your face solos. I run it through my main amp (AC30CC2) for the most part. But for high gain metal I use my B-52 AT100 100w head.(I can't say enough about this head. For the price it is just fantastic. Great all round versatile tone from an amp that should cost twice as much) For everything else I just love my Vox. Best amp I have ever owned. Vox has gotten it right again with the AC30/15 Custom Classics. Great classic Vox tone and very usable features. Thanx to Vox for bringin' the AC30/15 to the 21st century. Peace, Rob
djroge1
I don't like playing rhythm. It depends on the song though - for some I say an acoustic guitar. Otherwise a Dot or LP.
