dc3c46
I am planning to upgrade my LP with Bumblebee Caps and/or a complete new prewired Harness. So I checked the RS website and found what I want. However before ordering I wanted a quote for the cost of shipping. Here came the answer by e-mail: For shipping a pair of Caps ($42) the shipping would be $24.50! I find this crazy for something that just weighs a few grams and is quite small. Anyone of you experienced a better deal regarding shipping? deepblue
That sounds like alot for shipping for something that could be sent in small envelope. Its no wonder online purchases will never be number one.
Tim Plains
I've ordered twice from RS. If you add the items you want to your cart and then check out, it'll automatically give you a total for shipping. Another thing you have to look out for is a brokerage fee. The first time I bought things from RS, I paid an additional $25 brokerage fee. The second time, there was no fee...don't know why. The only thing I can suggest is don't just buy one item. You're already paying for shipping, you might as well have a few things sent to you. I bought 12 pots the last time around. I figure I'll use them up eventually... daveinspain
I have ordered from them and they shipped to Spain for me.... I don't remember what it was but it was reasonable... I would call them up and talk to them... The phone number is on their web site... They are very cool to deal with....

That's exactly what I e-mailed them back. And: a guy on e-bay offers Caps and charges only $5 for shipping. Tried to phone RS today - but they are closed til Apr 22nd. elantric
For shipping a pair of Caps ($42) the shipping would be $24.50! At least they have a consistent price structure across the board.

tazzboy
You must be getting the Luxe Radio caps. That' pretty much there asking price on those. If you don't want to pay for the price you can check out Angela's which have the Jensen Paper in Oil. All parts or Speciality Guitars for Vitamin Q's ($13.50) or Mojotone Vitamin T which are $4.13.
