Zoso1212
I’m a Les Paul player (i own 4) and recently bought a Fender Acoustisonic to use in a duo act that i’m currently in. The Acoustisonic is perfect for what I do in that duo. You can get a variety of acoustic tones, AND very good electric tones as well due to the three different pickups. The versatility is unbelievable. There’s only 1 problem. It plays like a fender. Has anyone heard anything about Gibson building a competitor that is just as good, maybe in an LP junior, or SG body? if they did, I’d buy it the day it hit the market and put the Fender up for sale! 😀
merciful-evans
Build a competitor? Sounds very unlikely. You can find Gibsons with piezo PU (eg: Chet Atkins Nylon), but the only Gibson alternative to an Acoustisonic I can think of might be the Gibson Limited Edition Les Paul with L.R. Baggs Piezo. https://reverb.com/item/47192074-gibson-les-paul-limited-run-piezo-emg-2009-gold-top There may be others?
