Teal Peizo guitar icon won't change while "I" on MCK selection flashes

My DF plays fine when it's hooked up to my Carr Amplifier and the piezo function works well enough, but when I am plugging the updated DF into the RIP Interface, I notice that the piezo guitar icon turns teal (bluish-green) while the "I" continuously flashes in any of a number of colors such as blue green or red. When this occurs, I can't do anything with the piezo. If I remove the guitar from the RIP interface and plug it directly into my amp, the piezo functions work fine again. Has anybody seen this?

It will be fixed with a firmware update in May.
