As per The Guitar Dater Project:

Can't say what model it is though.

 

I recently discovered here in the forum that Gibson DID use the string-through bridges on some models during that era, but ultimately decided that they did not yield the best tone or sustain.

It's an early 1970s J40. $500 is a good price if it's okay structurally.

Thanks..My problem was the string-through bridge.

It`s a square shoulder J-45 from `73
