As usual superior guitar interpretation of a well known tune.  I would've preferred almost any other vocalist than Clapton (even Andy Williams) but the guitar work was great.  A shame we will not hear any more of these going forward.

Superb phrasing, tone...wow.....he had 'the voice' on electric didn't he?

Here's the concert (next week) though tickets are a bit too expensive for me. [wink]     The inclusion of John McLaughlin is fitting and should up everyone's game.

PSA  -  There are tracks from the Beck tribute concert in London up on youtube NOW.

The best footage is from the front left on 23rd with phone/camera on a tripod, very good audio and video, the songs are in numbered order.

Clapton, this is excellent:

Mclaughlin:

There is some AMAZING slide playing by Derek Trucks on "Goodbye Pork Pie Hat" and several other songs, Imelda May sings a stunning "Remember (Walkin' In the Sand)", and Ronnie Wood comes over well.    Rod Stewart  doesn't IMO....he sings ok but....watch and you'll see.  Facepalm.

Well worth checking out!
